you know what i think has been totally understated... Dawson's Creek (well, seasons 1 and 2 anyway). under the direction of Kevin Williams (or Williamson... or Wilson... i think it was Williams) the show had definate worthwhile insights into the psyche of youth. i know at the time... i was in year 11 or so... i think... the show really spoke to me (albeit in words i couldnt always understand). it took seriously the issues that kids were facing, and stuff like the extended vocabulary of the cast acted to make us feel like we being taken seriously.

Katie Holmes was a definate bonus too...
