At work I deal with boxes, a lot of boxes, one of the joys of working in a mailroom. Something cool I noticed were these "box certificate stamp" things on the bottom of some of the boxes. Now while information about the bursting test or the edge crush test is fascinating, I found the origin of some of the stamps really really cool!

Take for example this one,

Kalamazoo Michigan huh. Did anyone even know a place called Kalamazoo existed? Is box making the prime industry in Kalamazoo? Does Kalamazoo stand for anything? So many questions, so much googling in store.

Anyways, I've got a stack of these, ill put em up every now and then... they're a cack!

PS. Note the name of the company is "Mall City". Only in the States huh...
